As the Technical Adviser of of the Super Eagles, Genort Rorh begins to compile the names of players that would represent the Nation at this year’s Africa cup of Nation Egypt, one players who is seriously knocking at his door with his splendid performances in Morocco is Babatunde Micheal

The player who announced himself to the World during the 2014 fifa World cup in Brazil where he marshaled the midfield of the Super Eagles with his dazzling performances has been painting the Moroccan league red with top class weekly performances.

The naturally talented attacking midfielder has so far scored 7 goals in the current league season for his club Wydad Casablanca.

Had Babatunde Micheal not played for Nigeria he would have been persuaded to switch Nationality with the respect he commands in the Arab country.

Though, the easy going player is going about his business quietly in Morocco but he sure does deserve a place in the twenty three man list of the Super Eagles that would be selected for the Nations cup if merit is to be the yardstick for selection.

Babatunde Micheal has nothing more to prove to Nigerians and would have been a regular member of the current team had he not had the injury at the Brazil World cup that kept him out of action for long. But the player has since bounced back and doing what he knows how to do best. So, why shouldn’t the current technical crew pay attention on him?
