Head coach of Nigeria’s U20 national team, coach Paul Aigbogun has expressed optimism in the ability of his present squad to have a smooth sail transiting from the flying eagles into the the main national team, the super eagles.
Aigbogun however admitted that the players in his squad lacks the natural talent of the likes of Austin Jay Jay Okocha & the host of other ex-internationals.
“Okocha is a difficult one to produce, even in the world today who’s producing Okocha? its a difficult one to produce, he’s a natural talent that comes once in a while.
The former Enyimba of Aba Gaffer further stressed that he’s focused on building a formidable team that will represent the country in the forthcoming AYC in Niger Republic as well as grabbing one of the tickets that will see the country participate in the U20 FIFA men’s world cup slated to take place in Poland later in the year.
Nigeria is placed in group A alongside host nation Niger republic, Burundi & South Africa as her opponent’s for the forthcoming AYC Schedule for the 2nd to run through to the 17th of February 2019 in Niamey the capital of Niger republic.
