2 Top Positions MC Oluomo Is Likely To Consider After His Tenure As Lagos NURTW Boss

For every man, there is always a desire to move to higher level in life. So, for the Chairman of the Lagos State Chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo, it would not be a crime for him to aim for higher or bigger positions after his tenure at the helms of affairs of the Transport Union in the Centre of Excellence. Interestingly, there are two top positions which he is likely to consider in that regard.

And one of the likely positions has to do with the one which King of Fuji music, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Anifowoshe Marshal popularly known as K1, dropped a hint about at the recently held remembrance party that star actress, Iyabo Ojo, organised for her late mum. While praise-singing MC Oluomo at the big society party, K1 referred to him as “Gbadewolu Akoko of Oshodi”. In case that is not clear to you, what the Fuji music legend meant by that expression is that, MC Oluomo was poised to become the first person to bring Royal Crown to Oshodi.

In other words, K1 expressly made it known with the statement he made repeatedly at the party that, MC Oluomo could become the first crowned King Oshodi in Lagos State might be having. And who says that is not possible? Long before now, one of the ways MC Oluomo’s admirers used to hail him had been to refer to him as: “Oluomo Kan, Oshodi Kan” (As there is one Oluomo, there is also one Oshodi too). Or to refer to him as: “Kosi Oba Ni Oshodi, Oluomo Sa Ni Ani” (We don’t have a King in Oshodi, but we have Oluomo). So, refering to MC Oluomo with such epithets by the people goes to show that the influence and charisma of MC Oluomo who presided over most of the motor parks in Oshodi before becoming the Chairman of the NURTW in the Lagos State, is huge.

And like K1 has already hinted at it, MC Oluomo’s next move might just be to become the first King in Oshodi after his time as NURTW Boss in Lagos State. But if that does not work out, another top position “Olulu” as MC Oluomo is also fondly called is likely to consider, is to become the National President of the NURTW in Nigeria. As lofty as attaining that national position may sound, it is arguably not out of possibility for a personality like MC Oluomo.

After all, before he eventually clinched the position of the State Chairman of NURTW in Lagos State, a number of naysayers thought he would not achieve it, but against all odds, he is currently the number one Transport Unionist in the Centre of Excellence. And remember that, his predecessor in that office, Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede, equally made an effort to become the National President of the NURTW in Nigeria immediately after leaving office in Lagos State. But Agbede was only able to get the position of National Vice President of the NURTW in Nigeria, the position he holds currently in Abuja.

So, what days MC Oluomo would not be luckier than Agbede if he makes a frantic effort to become the National President of their union after his tenure in Lagos State too? Nothing is impossible. Meanwhile, it is left to MC Oluomo to decide which of the higher positions ahead of him he would want to choose after leaving his current office.

But take it or leave it, the youthful and energetic MC Oluomo is not looking like a man who would not have a higher or bigger ambition to pursue after his current position as the NURTW Boss in Lagos State.
