Abayomi Dairo was all smiles after he escaped being killed by bandits who had shot the jet he flown in Zamfara state, according to a verified publication. Forced to survive, the Air Force pilot did three important things that probably saved him.

The first action of the pilot which saved him from being killed was his bravery, where he jumped down from the jet, with the help of his parachute, after he was being shot at by the bandits. This nonetheless was an important approach in not just having to escape being hit by bullets, but by the crash would have eventually claimed his life.

The flight lieutenant who landed on the ground realized he was being chased by bandits, and as such, in a bid to live and share his testimony, the second thing he did was to make a run without having to let fear prevent him, despite the guns aimed at him.

Abayomi Dairo didn’t just run, but only ran through the dark path. This act again proved decisive, which helped saved him from being killed, because his attackers couldn’t easily locate where he was, giving him more chance to avoid being hit by the bullets.

After surviving that second part, Abayomi was now left to find a secure place where he could seek shelter, and possibly ward off the bandits completely. With such thought, he decided to make use of his phone for navigation.

The Air force pilot who escaped being killed should be grateful for the fact that he was able to first locate a nearby area faraway from where the bandits had started attacking him, before finding his way to an Army Unit who kept him under protection before rescue teams located his crashed jet.
