The outgoing President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Melvin Pinnick has hit the overdrive in his reaction to the Presidential directive conveyed through the Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare, advising NFF to do the right thing by ensuring the September 30, 2022, NFF election holds as scheduled and that the football statute is domesticated in line with best practices.

Pinnick is alleged to have embarked on a spending spree to tarnish the image of the Minister and to also undermine President Muhammadu Buhari’s authority to speak about the status of Nigerian football.

Pinnick and the NFF were alleged to have hired some media platforms to commence a line-up of attacks against Federal Government directives, sponsoring defamatory publications against the office of Mr President and the Minister.

For daring to advise and direct NFF to do the right things for Football development, he has vowed to fight the Presidential order.

Information revealed that Pinnick has instructed his goons to be on a standby to attack the image of the Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports development to raise the sentiments of Nigerians against the government of President Muhammadu Buhari and to incite possible ban on Nigeria from football activities.

Pinnick has been alleged to use his working relationship as Nigeria’s FA President with Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President to blackmail Sunday Dare by telling Infantino to come hard on Mr. President and the Minister and accuse them of Interference.
