2021 has so far been one of the most thrilling years we have ever experienced in Nigeria. However, though October is still in swing, a lot including the pleasant and the unpleasant has happened.

1. EndSARS Memorial:

The event of October 20th, 2020 will undoubtedly be an unforgettable ordeal for virtually all Nigerians. However, as a remembrance for what happened, a memorial was carried out a few days ago.

In my opinion, apart from last year and this year, what happened at the Lekki toll gate will forever remain in the hearts of many.

2. Tiwa Savage Alleged S*x tape:

For Tiwa Savage, the month of October 2021 is one she would hardly forget because of what happened. Earlier in the month, the singer had revealed that someone was blackmailing her with her alleged s*x tape.

Well, after refusing to pay any money to the blackmailer, the alleged tape was released. And so far, she seems to have overcome it through support from friends, fans, and family members.

3. White money Winning Big Brother:

After amassing over 40% of the total votes from viewers, Hazel Oyeye Onou AKA Whitemoney was crowned the winner of the latest edition of Big Brother Naija.

White money had spent 10 weeks in the house, competing with over 20 housemates and he came out victorious with a grand prize of 90 million naira.

4. Chiwetalu Agu Arrest:

A few weeks ago, Chiwetalu Agu who is a popular Nollywood actor was arrested by the Nigerian army. The actor was arrested for allegedly wearing an outfit carrying the Biafra flag.

However, after all the explanations, the actor was later released but for sure, this ordeal is one Chiwetalu Agu won’t forget in a rush.

5. Nnamdi Kanu Appearance In Court:

On the 21st of October 2021, Nnamdi Kanu finally appeared in court to face trial. The 54-year-old was charged with various crimes which included terrorism, ‘misdemeanor’, treason, and others.

However, despite pleading not guilty for 7 charges, his case was adjourned till November 10, 2021.
