Sadiq Umar reveals his secrete desire for his Spanish team, Almeria FC this season

Nigerian striker, Sadiq Umar who plies his trade with Spanish second division side, Almeria FC has stated that his greatest desire is to help the club secure promotion to the Spanish elite league, the Laliga.

Sadiq Umar banged in his 10th goal of the season in a four goals thriller encounter against Sabadell last weekend.

His goal came in the 76 minutes of play in the crucial match which saw both teams scored two goals apiece

While speaking from his base in Spain, the former Nigeria U23 star player said,

“Yes, i scored again today which is a plus to me and my team. Overall, we actually deserve the three points but a point is better than losing the game. Sadiq disclosed

“In the last three matches I have played consecutively and I have scored 6 goals in all competitions, i have 4 goals in the league and 2 goals in the cup game.

Umar stated further that his focus and top priority this season is to ensure that they return Almeria to the Spanish top flight league.

“I am focused and working very hard to ensure that Almeria return to the Spanish la Liga by the end of the season,” Sadiq Umar said.
