A few days ago, a terrible incident occurred at Ikoyi, where an uncompleted 21 story building collapse while some bricklayers and other staff were still working at the site.
It was gathered that some people who were at the site when the building collapsed are confirmed dead, while many others are still covered under the debris from the collapsed building. As sad as the story is, one of the bricklayers, known as Innocent, who was at the scene when the incident occurred has come out to testify to the goodness of God that spared his life on that day.
He said that he was working on the 12th floor before he stepped out for him to get more plaster and sand so that he could continue his work before the incident occurred. He, however, revealed that he was standing not far from the pillar that gave the cracking sound and immediately ran away from before the building collapsed.
In conclusion, he said that he is still nursing an ankle injury that he sustained as a result of the incident that happened.
