The leadership crisis rocking the Taraba State Football Association (FA), has taken a fresh twist.
This is as the Federal High Court sitting in Jalingo, the State capital, has sacked the incumbent chairman, Timothy Heman.
The presiding judge, Justice Simone Amobeda ordered that the plaintiff, Mahmud Sanusi Mohammed be immediately sworn in as the chairman of the association in the State.
The crisis, which has been lingering for the past three years, has impacted negatively on the football game in the State.
The Judge warned the incumbent chairman, to as a matter of urgency, cease from parading himself as the State FA chairman.
The court further ordered the association at the national level to stop dealing with the incumbent chairman.
Elated by the outcome of the ruling, the counsel to Mahmoud, Isa Buba, asked the aggrieved party to join hands with Mahmoud to move football forward in Taraba state.
