Osezuah urges electorates to vote wisely in the Edo LGA election

Chairmanship hopeful for Esan North-East LGA of Edo State,  Engr Abraham Osezuah has called on the electorates and the entire Esanland to vote with their conscience and conviction in the forthcoming local government election.

Osezuah who played host to the press appealed to voters not to sell their votes  for peanuts and turn back to lament when such elected  officials turn their backs against them.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant who prides himself as a “philanthropic and a humanitarian” promised to meet his people at the point of their needs.

He said that he will to open up his LGA, especially the hinterlands to boost connectivity to mainstream society. He said this would be his driving force as chairman of the council.

Speaking further, he said he is  eager to touch lives and put smile on people’s faces as ” a way of giving back to the community he was born, and grew up.

The University of Benin Civil Engineering graduate added that,  “I have always wanted to make a change in my Community which lacks basic infrastructural and social/human developments”.

“Though this is not the first project I have executed which has touched and altered the lives of people in the community, most of them have been carried out discreetly away from the press and ceremonial fanfare,” he said.

“The idea of speaking up at this critical period is because people coming forward to lay claim to the solar electricity project I put in place for the benefit of my village and surrounding communities,”

He declared, “This light cuts across Ebhoijie community through Jude Ezehi Street, up to the Palace of the Onojie of Uromi.”

While enumerating his plans for the people, he mentioned that when he gets voted into office, aside seeing it as the responsibility of citizens to develop their palace, he would go a step further to develop and give it a befitting facelift to tally with modern day looks and a veritable symbol of our heritage and our culture.

He promised to extend the solar electrification project to them because it’s an ongoing project that would cover three more clans in the immediate environs before moving to Idumoza community and other parts of ward eleven and Esan North East LGA in general.
