The All Progressive Congress Presidential spokesman, Garbe Shehu has come out to make some clearification on the statement released by Femi Adesina special adviser to the president, that Africa richest man, Aliko Dangote is among president Buhari’s campaign team.
Garba Shehu stated that he needed to make the clarification for the benefit of the public that may not have understood the situation.
“Dangote Not Member Of APC Campaign Council” and It has become imperative to further clarify the status of Dangote, named under the sub-head ADVISORY MEMBERS in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council announced on Friday, December 28, 2018,”
“The Africa’s richest man is not being a card-carrying member of APC, cannot, and is not a member of the PCC. He is also a member of the Peace Committee, and thus cannot be in a partisan campaign council,” he stated.
