The Abuja Kids Soccer League, organized by former Nigeria international Femi Ajilore, has concluded its latest edition with a grand finale that was hailed as a huge success. The league, which has gained recognition in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), saw the participation of several teams and was endorsed by the FCT Football Association (FCT FA).
Speaking after the conclusion of the league, Ajilore spoke about the league’s progress, thanking the board members, football stakeholders, and dignitaries who attended the grand finale.
The FCT FA Chairman, Abbah Mouktar, was particularly appreciated for his support, having endorsed the league and provided trophies. The FCT FA Vice Chairman, the Secretary of the FCT FA, and the Chairman of the FCT chapter of the Coaches Association were also thanked for their presence and support.
The league’s organizer expressed gratitude to all stakeholders, including the teams, parents, and media houses that covered the event. He noted that the presence of these dignitaries added a huge face-lift to the grand finale and appreciated their support for grassroots football development.
Femi Ajilore particularly thanked Fan Milk who provided all the guests with their products during the closing ceremony.
The Abuja Kids Soccer League is designed to promote football development among young players in the FCT, and its success is expected to have a positive impact on the state’s sporting landscape.
