16 teams are currently battling for honour at the ongoing 3rd edition of the Leke James Invitational Football tournament in Kaduna.
The event is an annual one that promotes Healthy relation within the City and it’s environs through football.
The tournament also allow scouts the opportunity to discover talent for clubs within the country and abroad.
Part of the aim is to also help develop grassroots football in the state and the country at large.
James who recently won the top flight league in Norway with Molde FK finished the season as second top scorer 17 goals.
The Kaduna-born football star says “ this is an opportunity for him to give back to the society, especially the place where he was discovered”.
The striker is currently being closely monitored by the Super Eagles technical crew.
The Leke James invitational runs from 9th to 11 of Dec 2019 at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.
