As the world continues  to grapple  with the devastation caused by the Coronavirus which has shut down many sectors of the economies of various countries including Nigeria, the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development under the leadership of the Minister Mr. Sunday Dare in collaboration with the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) has organised a Webinar with the theme: Post COVID-19 Nigeria- Impact and Opportunities for the Sports Sector.

The Webinar which will take place on the Thursday, 7th 2020 at 10:00 AM, will have the Minister as a keynote speaker.

The panelists will include captains of industries from  the private sector,  public servants and sports administrators who have over the years risen through the ranks in their respective fields.

The Webinar will be open to the general public but participants are expected to register at nesgroup.org/sitgwebinar.

It would be recalled that the Ministry of  Youth and Sports Development had in December of 2019, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with  the NESG as an important stakeholder in the economic development of the country, with a view to breaching the magnitude of funding gap that has clogged  the wheel of development of the sports  sector in Nigeria.
