The Permanent Secretary, Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Olusade Adesola, has called for strong partnership between individuals, corporate bodies in the development of the Nation’s Capital, Abuja.
Adesola said with unity of purpose , synergy between the public spirited individuals, corporate organizations and the FCT Administration, a brighter future is assured for the city and the nation.
The Permanent Secretary, who spoke Thursday, in Nyanya, at the commissioning and handing over of constituency projects in the FCT Senatorial District, acknowledged the collaborative efforts of the various agencies of government and the community, which resulted in the smooth execution of the projects.
Represented by the Director, Human Resource Management Department, Muhammad Bashir, Adesola said road construction has always been a critical component of infrastructural development in the FCT, which he said relies heavily on a robust road network to ensure a smooth vehicular movement and activities across the Territory, and as well ease transportation and connectivity.
He noted that the project being commissioned will no doubt have a tremendous impact on the people, especially the masses who would benefit from using the facilities.
According to him, the Health care center, which is one of the projects constructed by Senator Philip Aduda, will create access to quality health care services for improved wellbeing of the FCT residents.
The permanent Secretary commended Senator Philip Aduda, representing the FCT for executing such project capable of uplifting the socio-economic status of the rural dwellers.
His words: “I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to Senator Philip Aduda, your exemplary leadership, unwavering dedication, and genuine concern for the welfare of the people, have set a high standard for public service”
Earlier, Chairman, Abuja Municipal Are Council (AMAC) Christopher Maikalangu Commended Senator Aduda for providing such quality infrastructural facilities for the people whom he said would continue to identify with the senator’s aspirations.
In his remarks, Senator Philip Aduda said the desire for public good propelled him to initiate such projects.
He said, “I am always willing to identify with the masses and is ready to undertake any venture that will put smiles on the faces of the masses.”
Aduda, therefore, wants the benefitting communities to make judicious use of the projects.
Some of the projects commissioned by the Senate President, Sen. Ahmad Lawan , represented by Senator Danjuma Laah , representing Kaduna South include roads in Nyanya , Karu, Kuje and Bwari respectively .
Others were, Hospital and Town halls in Karu and Bwari among others.
