Ikare-Akoko, a historic town in Ondo state, South West Nigeria stood witness to a grand celebration as the illustrious Olukare of Ikare marked a remarkable 40 years on the throne. The town was aglow with excitement as esteemed guests, fellow monarchs, and admirers converged to pay tribute to Olukare’s four decades of visionary leadership and enduring impact.
Among the notable personalities in attendance is the distinguished former Permanent Secretary of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Adesola Olusade. A renowned public servant and administrator, Adesola Olusade has come to pay tribute to the monarch’s wisdom, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the development of Ikare-Akoko.
As the celebrations get underway, Adesola Olusade takes the opportunity to reflect on Olukare’s remarkable achievements over the past four decades. “Olukare’s reign has been a golden era for Ikare-Akoko,” he says. “His Majesty’s selfless dedication to the welfare of his people, his unwavering commitment to justice and fairness, and his unrelenting pursuit of progress and development have earned him a special place in the hearts of his subjects.”
Adesola Olusade, who also served with distinction as Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Sports, and the Nigeria Delta Ministry praised Olukare’s visionary leadership and his ability to bring people together in the pursuit of common goals. “Olukare is a unifying force in Ikare-Akoko,” he says. “His Majesty’s leadership has been characterized by wisdom, compassion, and a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of his people.”
