Popular female activist, Aisha Yesufu has replied a final year student identified as Omoregie Emmanuel, who shared photos of a giant sculpture he built of her as part of his requirements for the award of a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine and Applied Arts.
According to the creative student, he made the sculpture of Aisha Yesufu, to appreciate and recognize her for the roles she has shown towards contemporary activism in Nigeria.
Omoregie inscribed “BBOG” on the sculpture to appreciate Aisha Yesufu’s efforts and campaigns during the kidnap of the Chibok schoolgirls in 2014.

On his Twitter page, the student wrote: “I thank the Lord, for this. I am Omoregie Emmanuel, as part of the requirements for the award of B. A Fine and Applied Arts, I made a stylized Figure of Aisha Yesufu, to appreciate her roles towards contemporary activism in Nigeria.”
Meanwhile, moments later, Aisha Yesufu reacted to Omoregie’s work and expressed her gratitude. She commented, “I am speechless! I really don’t know what to say. I do not take any of this for granted. Thank you.”
