Amb Dr Odiete receives Honoris Causa Professor award from TBU-Global Extension Brooklyn USA

President of NIPEM, Amb Dr Maurice Azubuike Odiete has added another feather to his cap as the Board of Directors of TBU Global Extension Brooklyn USA conferred him with the degree Honoris Causa as Professor of Educational Leadership in recognition of his outstanding performance in achieving a high exemplary standing in academics and professional excellence.
The award was at the occasion of the Highstone Global University USA, TBU-Global Extension Brooklyn USA, and NIPEM INTL convocation, award, and Matriculation ceremony which took place at the Main Auditorium of the Lagos State University (LASU) on the 31st of July 2021.
The highly elated Dr. Odiete said he is full of joy that the University considered him worthy of such a prestigious award. “I feel Highly excited to be Recognized with such a magnanimous portfolio, it’s really a huge Honour. I least expected that it was a big surprise and I dedicate all to God Almighty,” he said.
Speaking further about what the award meant to him, the university Don maintained that it was a dream come true for him, stressing further that it will only go a long way in spurring him to do more for humanity.
“People that are always around me will bear me witness, I have said many times that someday in my career I will attain these honours- Doctorate, Professorship and even higher ranks than the aforementioned, but I am not carried away, Tittles are good but not all that Necessary, Getting Results is what drives me, it’s all that matters, my major priority is to Plant and Establish Colleges, Polytechnics, and Universities across Africa in order to give the masses- affordable And Accessible Education thereby Reducing illiteracy, and I can guarantee you that by the Special Grace of God, we will achieve that, we have already set up a Benchmark,” Amb. Dr. Odiete noted.
