Bibiana Okoli: The Blind Woman Who Recently Bagged A Doctorate From University Of Ibadan

It is interesting to note that Nigerian women irrespective of their challenges and struggles are making profound efforts in making an impact on themselves and the society at large.

This is the story of a visually-impaired Scholar, Bibiana Okoli who bagged a doctorate from the prestigious University of Ibadan in Oyo State, South West region of Nigeria.

The PhD holder in Special Education with specialization in the Education of the Visually-impaired who hails from the South-East started problem with her sight when she was about eight years old.

The beautiful woman, though, visually-impaired has won many awards including an award by the International Association for Special Education in Poland, and has traveled to several countries for conferences.

The story of this vibrant and dedicated woman should be a lesson to other women that they can achieve their goals if they are determined and focused.
