The Africa Volleyball Confederation, CAVB, has awarded Ahly club of Egpyt the hosting right of the Women,’s Africa Club Championship in the major 2 halls of the club from the 16th to the 25th of March, 2019.
Ahly Club offers better bidding than the other candidate to host; Carthage of Tunisia to receive the prestigious competition for the second year in a row.
The 2018 editions showed participation of 19 clubs from the whole continent making All Time Record of attendance in
the competition.
CAVB put 15th of February 2019 as a deadline to receive the participating team documents.
Ahly won the last title making a record of 9 titles under their name. They are followed by Kenya Pipelines who won 6 titles.
