Few weeks to the commencement of the FIFA women World cup, the Nigeria Super Falcons are spoiling for war with the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation and they have exquisitely made their intention known through a letter sent to the football house president, Amaju Pinnick.
www.the ajasanews.com gathered that the letter signed by the team captain, Desire Oparanozie the players have requested to know how much will be due to them from the world cup largess and how much bonuses would be paid to them.
The players have threatened to shutdown the camp when they travel to Austria for the final phase of their preparation for the world cup if nobody from the NFF leadership come to address them on the issue raised.
The leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation are yet to react to the letter from the players, but information reaching us has it that the situation has really not come down well with them and they have been holding series of meeting in other to avert the planned shutdown.
You may want to recall that the players of the Super Falcons have decried the disparity in the way they have been treated when compared to the players of the Super Eagles.
And the latest move is said to be a way of avoiding a repeat of the treatments they have received at previous major tournaments.
