The Director-General of the Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO), Magaji Da’u Aliyu, has called on Nigerians, particularly Muslim faithful, to imbibe the virtues of sacrifice, compassion, and unity as they celebrate Eid al-Fitr.

In a Sallah message issued on March 20, 2026, Aliyu extended warm greetings to Nigerians and stakeholders in science, technology, and innovation, noting that the occasion serves as a reminder of the importance of selflessness and collective responsibility in building a better society.

He stressed that as Nigeria continues its journey towards sustainable development, there is a need for citizens to uphold values that promote peace, stability, and national progress. The SHESTCO boss also offered prayers for the country, asking for divine guidance for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Minister of Science and Technology, Kingsley Udeh, and other leaders.

Aliyu further noted that the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) emphasize peace, unity, and compassion, urging Nigerians to embrace these principles to drive development, foster innovation, and tackle challenges in the science and technology sector.

Reaffirming the agency’s commitment to national development, he said SHESTCO would continue to promote scientific advancement and innovation, while encouraging stakeholders to contribute towards the country’s growth.

He also called on Nigerians to pray for the nation’s prosperity and work collectively towards a brighter and more sustainable future.
