FCT SWAN felicitates with Christians at Christmas
…preaches tolerance, love
As the World celebrates Christmas, the Chairman, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (FCT chapter), Comrade Ndubueze Chidoka has congratulated Christians, particularly Sporting media professionals, practicing within the Nation’s capital.
Chidoka whose message was contained in statement issued in Abuja enjoined all to always imbibe and walk in the reason Jesus Christ was born to mankind.
The SWAN Leader in FCT who noted that Christmas is not only demonstrated in form of celebration, further hinted that times like this demand reflection in our day-to-to activities especially as it concerns individuals’ relationship with each other.
His word: “I see Christmas as a solemn moment, when we need to reflect and re-appraise our relationship with God and our fellow Human. Jesus Christ who we are celebrating brought joy and peace to the whole world.
“While he was still on earth, he taught us to always tolerate each other in all our dealings. I enjoin us to use this holy moment to pray for each other and commit proceedings in our association to God Almighty.”
He however used the opportunity to re-affirm the commitment of SWAN FCT leadership in making the association a rallying point for members at all times.
