As the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) joins the rest of the nation in celebrating the Easter festivities, the Honourable Minister, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, has extended his warm felicitations to all residents, particularly the Christian faithful.

In a press release dated April 18, 2025, Wike noted that Easter is a season that embodies timeless virtues of compassion, sacrifice, and forgiveness, values that transcend Christian faith and are essential for harmonious living. He urged residents to emulate these virtues, fostering an environment of unity, tolerance, and understanding.

The Minister also called on residents to support the FCT Administration’s efforts by fulfilling their civic responsibilities, particularly in tax payment and compliance with government regulations. He emphasized that these contributions are crucial in funding infrastructure, services, and development projects that benefit the entire community.

Furthermore, Wike urged residents to remain security-conscious during the festive period, reporting any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities and observing necessary safety precautions.

In his Easter message, the Minister prayed for renewed hope, peace, and joy in the homes of FCT residents. He also offered special prayers for the President and all leaders, seeking God’s guidance in their pursuit of the Renewed Hope Agenda for a better Nigeria.

Wike reaffirmed the FCT Administration’s commitment to infrastructural development, quality education, healthcare, agriculture, transportation, security, and other vital social services, assuring residents of continued efforts to build a stronger, more efficient, and people-centered FCT.
