FIFAe Nations cup: Uncertainty hits Nigeria participation

Nigeria will participate in the FIFAe Nations Cup competition 2023 for the first in the history of gaming. But one man who cannot go to bed with his two eyes closed is the president of the Nigerian esports federation Mr. Agbor Clinton Ayuk admitting that much is still needed for team Nigeria to participate in the most lucrative video gaming competition the FIFAe 2023.

Despite the understanding with the relevant bodies and the players, they are still very far in preparation for the FIFAe nation cup, if they must participate with the aim of making progress.

“Despite our efforts behind the scenes, we are still facing some challenges that are hindering our progress. Preparedness for this historic participation. Our team is in dire need of the following actions from the Nigeria Football Federation confirming Nigeria’s participation.

The world football governing body only works with its association members state, and for Nigeria, we are to work closely with the NFF.

We have since established a link with the NFF and am glad to let you know that we have Gamr as our technical partner for the FIFAe

Our most critical technical requirement for the local qualifier preparation is access to the official FIFA discord channel for training, guidelines, and updates as proposed by FIFA, and collaboration with the NFF’s team for seamless delivery of strategies.

Gamr is happy to provide design and all necessary support for the dream to come true for Nigeria in FIFAe 2023.

It is imperative that this agreement be endorsed immediately to facilitate the full commencement of preparations ahead of the FIFAe 2023. The MOU will not only demonstrate Nigeria’s readiness but will also send a strong signal to the rest of the world about Nigeria’s esports ecosystem

The president of the Nigeria esports federation further said the country has been divided into the zone for the qualifiers to give every Nigerian the opportunity to participate in the esports competitions.

Am confident that Nigerian players in the FIFAe will not only participate but will claim the medal podium, for the talents the Esports Federation has discovered are capable to challenge any player and come out with a victory.
