“You know Nigeria of today, you see youths roaming around the streets doing idle things, things that are not edifying, so our foundation says we should bring them from the grassroots, we should pick them out of the street, we should organize football tournament for them. Football is the in thing now. So we felt football should be the best for them, for the less privilege. We try to organize a 5-aside for them, what we call a Hope Life 5-aide with the mandate of taking grassroots football to professionalism.

“We had forty teams participating at the tournament and we had prizes for the last three teams, the highest goals scorer, and the most valuable player, all these is just to encourage them

“I am praying that one of these days the officials of the Nigeria Football Federation, the FCT Director of Sports, the National Team coaches would come here and see for themselves the talents on display here Nigeria has football talents, we have talents in FCT, there good boys, 16, 17 and 18 years boys see them tapping soccer sending the ball message to where it should be delivered,” she concluded.
