FRSC Mourns Passing of Former Minister, Pioneering Road Safety Advocate Audu Ogbeh

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Chief Audu Innocent Ogbeh, Nigeria’s former Minister of Agriculture and the first National Coordinator of the FRSC Special Marshals. Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed described Ogbeh’s death as a monumental loss to the nation and the Corps family.

According to the Corps Marshal, Ogbeh was a visionary who recognized the importance of citizen involvement in road safety. His pioneering work in mobilizing volunteer road safety advocates has had a lasting impact on the Corps.

The Corps Marshal paid tribute to Ogbeh’s legacy of service, leadership, and patriotism, noting that he laid a solid foundation for volunteerism in road safety advocacy. Ogbeh’s contributions to agriculture, national development, and road safety have left a lasting mark on Nigeria’s history.

The FRSC extended condolences to the Ogbeh family, the Government and people of Benue State, and all Nigerians who benefited from Ogbeh’s wisdom, mentorship, and selfless service. The Corps Marshal prayed for Ogbeh’s peaceful repose and strength for his family to bear the loss.
