FRSC Mourns Victim of Dangote Truck Crash, Reiterates Commitment to Safer Roads

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has expressed deep sadness over the passing of Miss Ruth Otabor, who was involved in a tragic crash with a Dangote truck on August 11, 2025, near Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State. Despite medical efforts, the victim succumbed to her injuries.

FRSC Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, condoled with the family of the deceased, the Students Union, and the Auchi Polytechnic Community, praying for the repose of her soul. The Corps has taken proactive steps to prevent similar incidents, including engaging with stakeholders and intensifying collaboration with major fleet operators to enhance road safety.
