Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Genort Rohr has stated that his team has all it takes to winning this year’s Africa cup of Nations in Egypt if they are given all the necessary and needed support by the Amaju Pinnick led Nigeria Football Federation, and the players in the right shape.
According to a report monitored by www.theajasanews.com, Rohr told adantesports.com.ng that much as he believes he has the team that can win the trophy he would not use that to put undue pressure on his boys.
Recently, there had been reports that Rohr’s employers, the Nigeria Football Federation has given him the ultimatum to win the biannual Africa football fiesta. But, Rohr noted that there is need for them to approach the tournament with a lot of caution so as not to break the young and enterprising players.
“My ambition with this team is to go to Egypt and make a great AFCON. We are number four (4) in Africa now and want to go higher with players who are even younger than the ones we paraded in world cup.
“We all would like to win the AFCON but I want us to avoid putting too much of pressure on our young players”, Rohr said.
