Global Leader Urges Action to Save Medicinal Plants from Extinction

The Global President of the Green World Association for medicinal plants, His Excellency Dr. Amb. Ibrahim Dada Nakowa, has stressed the importance of preserving medicinal plants by replanting them to prevent their extinction. According to Amb. Dada Nakowa, medicinal plants are a natural gift from God, essential for human health, and are becoming increasingly important as orthodox medicines fail to address various health challenges.

In a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday in Abuja, Amb. Nakowa decried the alarming rate at which medicinal plants are disappearing due to over exploitation and unsustainable practices, buttressed that this is a pressing concern.

Amb. Dada Nakowa’s stressed the need for collective responsibility in preserving these valuable resources, by cultivating the habit of planting and replanting medicinal plants, with a view to ensuring their survival and continued availability for future generations.

As the World global president of the Green World Association, Amb. Dada Nakowa urges everyone to embrace traditional medicines, which have been used for centuries to cure various diseases and health challenges.

“By promoting the conservation and sustainable use of medicinal plants, we can safeguard our health, well-being, the world and the environment globally, he added.
