Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom of Benue State has joined millions of Nigerians to send goodwill messages to the former Chief of Army Staf, Lt. Gen. T.Y. Danjuma as he celebrates his 84th birthday.
The message was contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary, Nathaniel Ikyur on Thursday.
The statement read further, “the Government and the good people of Benue State, heartily congratulates Lt. Gen. TY Danjuma, rtd on his 84th birthday.
“The Governor notes with pride the sterling leadership qualities of Gen. Danjuma as a soldier and statesman of very high repute and says he’s proud that the former Chief of Army Staff has continued to make his knowledge and wealth of experience in leadership available to the younger generation to tap from.
“The Governor prays for God’s sustained blessings upon Gen Danjuma and wishes him God’s grace, good health, wisdom, and courage in the years ahead to enable him to continue to serve the country,” it concluded.
