Residents of Cajaah Housing Estate, Orozo, have declared their support for the re-election of Hon. Christopher Zaka, Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing what they described as his outstanding performance in office.
The residents said granting him a second term would allow him to consolidate on the achievements recorded during his first tenure. They demonstrated their support by turning out in large numbers to vote in Saturday’s election.
Speaking to a correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) after casting his vote, Chief Gbenga Komolafe, speaking on behalf of the residents, expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the exercise and the opportunity to contribute to the chairman’s re-election bid.
Komolafe commended Hon. Zaka’s impactful leadership and developmental strides across the council, noting that his performance had positively affected communities within the area.
He further disclosed that residents of Cajaah Estate, Orozo, mobilised massively to ensure overwhelming support for the AMAC chairman at the polls, describing the turnout as a clear vote of confidence in his administration.
