The APC House of Assembly candidate Hon. Osamwonyi Atu has reiterated his commitment to giving an account of his legislative stewardship to the people of Orhionmwon East annually if elected.
He frowned at a situation where some politicians regard voters as empty vessels, get their votes, disappear and reappear only for another election. He continued that such must come to an end as power belongs to the people and not to one person to feed fat.
Addressing a media chat, the former Commissioner for EDSOGPADEC argued that it is wrong for political office holders to remember their constituents when it is time for election without showing what they have done for the people in terms of legislation and projects attracted.
Atu promised that help is on the way after a temporary dark period and assured the public of project attraction, impactful legislation, and zero excuses as he will combine his private efforts so far in human capital development with opportunities available to public office.
