Former Chairman of the Sports Writes Association of Nigeria, Swan, Lagos chapter, Frank Ilaboya has unravel the secrete behind the much celebrated sponsorship deal between the League Management Company, LMC and Bet9ja, owned by the owner of newly promoted side, Remo Stars, Kunle Soname

Speaking at a press briefing in Benin city on Wednesday, former Edo state Football Association chairman condemned in strong term the quick partnership deal signed between Bet9aija and the LMC, just three days after the conclusion of what he termed a shameful NNL super 8 playoff in Enugu.

He maintained that he was not surprise with the development after what played out in Enugu during the playoff.

”When I briefed the press in Enugu, I said a script is been acted here to push out Bendel insurance and give Remo stars the ticket to play in the NPFL next season, and today the whole world can see to it, this is an aberration, too bad for the game here in Nigeria.

”Is this how we want to develope our football? the quick deal between this two has further prove that there was indeed a big conspiracy against Bendel insurance in Enugu, I said it before our last game that a script was been carried out by the organizers of the league, and here we are today, ilaboya posited.

It would be recalled that Bendel insurance finished third in the group after one defeat to 3sc, and two draws with bottom placed Ekiti utd and Remo stars.
