The Opposition Coalition, (CUPP) has hailed River state Governor, Nyesom Wike for his courageous act of preventing armed men from abducting the Ex-NDDC MD, Joy Nunieh.

In a statement on Thursday, CUPP spokesperson said, “We want to salute the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, for always standing up against stupid and illegal actions of people who want to turn their fellow humans to slaves.

“The only language tyrants and baby political outlaws understand is to return force for force.

“Once you stand up against them, you will see that apart from the power of the guns which they rely on, they are cowards once exposed and resisted.

“We commend the governor for always being ready to be counted with it matters most. He is always ready to square it up with cowards who think that because of the temporary power they are wielding, they can silence us all.

“It is a fact that truth hurts them badly and they are so scared of hearing the bitter truth.

Instead of making amends, these people derive joy in hunting down the few who can speak out.

“We are aware that no human is perfect, but every angle that truth is coming out from, no matter how late, must be protected.

“The opposition family supports Governor Wike’s action and any of such action that men and women who have balls will take in future to help stop a rampaging group of outlaws hiding under our institutions to carry out their illegal activities.

“Standing up for the truth in a political space that have been hijacked by political Alleluia boys deserves to be commended.

“We all must say thank you Governor Wike for this courageous and bold stand,” he stated
