The Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the Nigeria Basketball Federation, Musa Kida has attributed the failure of his board to organise a basketball league in Nigeria during his first tenures to the handiwork of detractors.
Speaking recently with www.theajasansws.com in Abuja, Kida who is seeking for a return as president of the Basketball Federation maintained that much as he had desired to organise the league, his hands were tied by the various litigation instituted against him and his board.
The former NBBF boss who has been facing serious challenge from most of the basketball players for relegating the home based basketball players noted that rather than channeling blame on him, the blame should be placed on the door step of those who took them to court.
However, some of the basketballer who spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity argued that Kida was not keen to Organising the league as he was only using the supposedly court case not to do what he was elected to do.
