Brazilian and Real Madrid midfielder, Casemiro definitely is not a happy man and have stated it unequivocally that the manager, Zinedine Zidane cannot be blamed for the team 2-1 defeat to Valencia in the La Liga on Wednesday.

Goals from Goncalo Guedes and Ezequiel Garay gave the host all three points against Zinedine Zidane’s side.

However, Karim Benzema did score for Real Madrid

Casemiro blamed the Los Blancos’ players for “not doing well” against Valencia.

According to him, Zidane’s men were in control during the first half but the home team scored and got more confident.

“We know that this has been a difficult year and we are working hard to make sure we come back stronger next season and I’m sure we will,” Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro was quoted by NAN as telling reporters after the match.

“We were in control for the first half, then they scored and got more confident. We worked hard in the second half and tried to get back in the game but goals are what count.

“This defeat is difficult for us, we know we are not doing well but we must keep working.”
