Lagos State governorship candidate of the Accord Party, Hon. Hakeem Dickson has said lies fabricated against him are due to his rising popularity and quintessential profile in the forth coming election.
Mr. Dickson said some people are not comfortable with his populist disposition, this according to him had caused them sleepless nights and unnecessary worries.
He noted that the truth will always prevail, adding that the fabricated lies would not stand the test of time, as it would collapse like packs of card.

He said every effort to tarnish his image due to his increasing popularity amongst the people of Lagos State would meet a brick wall.
The governorship hopeful who spoke at a media parley, said, he had never been convicted for crime any crime in the United States of America or any other parts of the world, stressing that he was a law abiding citizen of global reputation.
The former chairman of Surulere local government, who spoke for the first time to clear the speculations on the issue, said, he never knew that the chairs in his home in the United States of America, ( USA) which he bought from a second party, were bought with a stolen credit card.
Speaking further, Mr. Dickson said, investigations was carried out, ‘those involved were apprehended, the judge discovered l was innocent. The law took it course, just as it’s done in developed countries.
He said, ‘yes, there was a case of the chairs l bought as a third party, never knew they were bought with a stolen credit card. investigations were rightly carried out and the culprit were apprehended, that does not make me a thief, or a fraudulent person.
‘It could have happened to any honest and responsible person. My political detractors decided to make a story of it, as soon as l won the Lagos State primary for my party,’ he said.
