Flight Lieutenant Abayomi Dairo, who survived from the Alpha Jet that was shot down by bandits on Sunday, has narrated his ordeal.
In the information he gave, he made it known that before his jet crashed on Sunday afternoon around 12:45pm in the afternoon, he had dreamt about it severally that he was attacked, as he saw himself fighting and evading enemies like real time war in his dreams.
He said when the jet was hit and he ejected from it, he started telling God to save him from their hands. So when he landed, the bandits were ruthless on him, as they wanted to catch him alive, instead of Killing him immediately but, they could not catch him.
He said while he was escaping, they could not get him because, he was using the green Federal Government’s suit he was wearing to hide in bushes, as he ran into plenty spiders and also laid down severally, so that they won’t see him.
After he escaped, he met some villages and after he interacted with them, they took him to their Emir’s palace, as the emir subsequently called soldiers who informed NAF, and he was rescued.
He further said that, it was after he was rescued that he started feeling back and chest, due to the way he ejected from the Alpha Jet, as God didn’t allow the pains to slow him down when he was escaping from them.
