President of Napoli, Aurelio de Laurentiis has admitted to the idea of a potential swap deal with Manchester United involving Victor Osimhen and Rasmus Hojlund,
Nigerian Osimhen who is currently on loan at Galatasaray, is expected to be sold by Napoli at the end of the season.
Osimhen who is sought after by several clubs in England has a €75 million buyout clause in his contract, and the Old Trafford side is really keen to bring him over this summer.
However, TMW reports that meeting this buyout option may be challenging for the Red Devils due to their issues with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability rules.
As a result, United may propose a swap deal that includes Hojlund, who previously played for Atalanta.
De Laurentiis is reportedly open to this possibility, especially since Hojlund’s current contract at United aligns well with Napoli’s wage budget.
