Media personality Nedu has vehemently denied allegations arising from a leaked voice note circulated by social activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), which purportedly implicated him in connections with cyber fraudsters and drug dealers in certain African regions.
Verydarkman had posted the controversial voice note on his Instagram page, insisting that the voice belonged to Nedu.
However, in a swift response, Nedu took to social media to debunk Verydarkman claims, stating categorically that he had no connection to the voice note and was not involved in any criminal activities.
Addressing the growing controversy, Nedu expressed deep concern over the impact of the allegations on his reputation, emphasizing that the situation was no longer a joke.
“Hello everyone, this is not a joke anymore!!! I know nothing about that voice note going around!!! I didn’t make that voice note!!! While this seems to be fun and games, I have never and will never be part of anything criminal!!!” Nedu wrote.
The latest development is part of an ongoing feud between Nedu and Verydarkman, which began after Verydarkman accused Nedu of using comedian Deeone to ridicule him on The Honest Bunch Podcast.
Verydarkman also alleged that Nedu had leaked private information about him and engaged in illicit activities with women before featuring them in skits.
As tensions continue to rise between the two public figures, Nedu’s latest statement appears to be a direct effort to clear his name and protect his public image.
