Minister of Labour and Employment , and former governor of Anambra Dr Chris Ngige has advised IPOD leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to drop his agitation for a sovereign state of Biafra
Ngige noted that the continuous agitation would jeopardize the Igbos chance of laying a claim to the Presidency in 2023.
He said, “My candid advice to Nnamdi Kanu is that he should drop this meaningless Biafra agitation and join hands with the Ohanaeze ndi Igbo to see if we can produce a President come 2023. .
“Being the Minister of Labour, almost Ninety five percent of Igbo youths have been employed, hardly a youth in Nigeria today that will come out to complain of not gainfully employed because President Muhammadu Buhari has put smiles on their faces through his numerous youth empowerment programs. .
“If Kanu drops the agitation today, other tribes will join hands in making sure an Igbo person becomes the next President of Nigeria. I tell you, there will be lots of more good projects in the Eastern parts of Nigeria to add to the ones President Muhammadu Buhari has already done.”
