The Permanent Secretary for Federal Capital Territory,Olusade Adesola has commended team FCT for their resilience and determination to succeed in the face of all odds.
Olusade was speaking on the sidelines of the recent reports coming from Asaba,Delta state venue of the ongoing National Youth Games where the team has continued to put up an impressive display in Gymnastics, Badminton,Shooting,Athletics,karate, and Golf.
‘ I am really happy with Team FCT’s performance at the games, it shows that with proper investment and a conscientious efforts that team FCT can be the team to beat at national competitions’
‘The FCT Minister,Hon. Nyesom Wike knows the importance of sports and its role of in the holistic development of our youths which is the reason he did not delay in approving money for the games ‘
‘the gains of the youth games can not be over emphasized because it affords our youth the opportunity to test their level of development,build team spirit and creates feelings of camaraderie amongst the Athletes as they are looking towards other major championships ‘
Team FCT is hoping to surpass the seventh place finish at the last national youth games in Ilorin,Kwara state
