Cross River State Commissioner of Education, Senator Professor Stephen Odey, has called on leaders to remain steadfast in their responsibility to drive societal development, as he reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to improving livelihoods across Cross River North.

Sen. Odey made the remark while celebrating the New Year with the people of Yache Nation and All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters drawn from across the local government area. The event, which held at his residence in Okuku, Yala Local Government Area, attracted a massive turnout of party faithfuls, community members, and well-wishers.

Addressing the gathering, the Commissioner pledged his continued support for the administration of Governor Bassey Otu, noting that the governor’s People First mantra aligns seamlessly with his vision of inclusive growth, empowerment, and sustainable development for Cross River State.
