Organisers of the forthcoming Nigeria–Italy Investment Summit (NIIS 2025) and Rome Business Forum (RBF 2025) have announced a shift in the event date, moving it from its earlier schedule to November 26–27, 2025, at the Teatro Rossini, Piazza di S. Chiara 14, Rome, Italy.
In a statement issued by Giant Gee Nigeria Limited and signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Ambassador Augustine Chigbolu, the organisers explained that the adjustment became necessary to allow for wider participation, logistical alignment, and enhanced collaboration with key institutional partners in both Nigeria and Italy.
According to the statement, the decision followed consultations with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, trade groups, and international partners, who requested additional time to finalise travel arrangements and partnership commitments.
“The change of date was a strategic decision aimed at ensuring that the summit delivers maximum value to all participants,” the organisers said. “We are working closely with our Italian partners and Nigerian business delegations to guarantee an impactful and well-coordinated event that will strengthen bilateral investment relations.”
The organisers added that preparations have been intensified to ensure a seamless experience for participants, with renewed efforts to broaden the scope of discussions and sectoral engagements.
This year’s summit, themed “Sustainable Growth Strategies Beyond Boundaries,” will spotlight key sectors including Agriculture and Agribusiness, Information Technology (IT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Fashion and the Creative Industry, and Clean and Renewable Energy.
The Nigeria–Italy Investment Summit is designed as a strategic platform to attract investment, foster innovation, and promote sustainable economic partnerships between both nations.
Interested participants are encouraged to register via the official website www.nigeriaitalyinvestmentsummit.com.ng[1] by clicking on Rome Business Forum, or reach the organisers through WhatsApp: +234-816-686-5774.
With the new date set, the organisers say they are committed to delivering a high-level business gathering that not only promotes trade and investment but also advances shared prosperity across borders.
