Nigeria’s quest for a medal at the ongoing Paris Olympic keeps getting bleak as one of the medal hopefuls,Tobi Amusan has crashed out in the women’s 100m hurdles.
She surprisingly finished third in the semi-final of the event.The 27-year-old ran a disappointing 12.55s in the keenly contested race.
She also failed to get a spot as third best non-automatic qualified athlete.
USA’s Grace Stark and Devynne Charlton of Bahamas came second and third respectively.
The world record holder made it to the final three years ago, but finished in fourth position.
Amusan failed to make it to her second consecutive final.
