The Rescue Mission of Governor Simon Bako Lalong in Plateau State is driven by patriotism, prudence, people-centred projects and legacy of continuity.
His Rescue Agenda is anchored on a 3-point policy thrust of Peace, Security and Good Governance; Infrastructural Development; and Sustainable Economic Rebirth.In delivering his vision for providing solid infrastructure for citizens of Plateau State, Governor Lalong chose to complete inherited and abandoned projects some lasting decades (in variance with the actions of his predecessors) as well as initiated new ones for the overall good of the people.
In recognition of the need for skilled manpower that provides jobs and employment for the citizens, Lalong decided to establish 2 more Technical Colleges in Pankshin and Shendam to complement the one in Bukuru.This week, we highlight ongoing work on one of the Lalong Legacy projects which is the reconstruction of Government College Pankshin into a Technical School in tandem with its original status, having been known as Craft School at inception.
