Private clubs owners mute own league, threaten to pull out of NNL

This are indeed not the best of time for Organiser’s of Nigeria league as the league may be thrown yet into another round of crisis if the threat by the private clubs owners is to be taking serious.

Information reaching the news desk of www.TheAjasaNews.com has it that the private clubs owners are feeling undone by the government clubs owners and are now gearing up to react.

The private club owners are of the view that the government clubs are the cause of the crisis that is currently rocking the league which has led to the undue delay in the resumption of the leagues.

They lament that the poor organization of the league which is without a proper schedule of resumption, couple with the current crisis rocking the league is telling so much on their budget in managing their clubs.

They maintained that unlike the goverment clubs they run their clubs with their hard earned money and may not be able to continue keeping their players in camp endlessly waiting for the crisis to be resolved.

To this end, the private club owners is said to have started muting the idea of setting up their own league, and their first step in the planned action is to pull out of the Nigeria National League.

The private clubs in the forefront of this agitation are, Aklosendi Int’l, Nnewi United, Kada City, Dynamite Force and J. Atete. Information has it that other private owned clubs in the different leagues may team up with them to have a sizable number.

You may want to recall that the Nations league has been locked in a crisis of how many clubs is to be promoted from the NNL to the Nigeria Premier League. The Club owners in the NNL with the managers of the league are insisting on having eight teams promoted but the club owners in the NPFL and the league organizers, LMC want only four clubs to join them from the NNL. Though, you may also want to recall that NPFL did not relegate any club last season.
