Professionalism Comes to FRSC Football Club as Babs Integrated Service Takes Over

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has handed over its football club to Babs Integrated Service, a professional football management company as part of efforts to bring in professionalism and enhance the Corps’ image.

The handing over ceremony was performed by the Head of Sports, Corps Commander Asanya Daniel N, FSI, on July 4, 2025.

FRSC Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed had directed the handing over with a view to injecting professionalism into the football club’s management. The duration of contract is four years in the first instance.

The Head of Sports commended the Corps Marshal for his vision, noting that football is a major sports business globally, and expects great benefits from this move.

Tijani Babangida, President of Babs Integrated Service and ex-international footballer, promised to add value to the Corps’ image and earnings through football.

Babangida also commended the Corps Marshal for the opportunity, which will help identify talents for local and international competitions.

The partnership is seen as another dimension to youth empowerment using the FRSC sports platform.

This development is expected to enhance the FRSC football club’s performance and contribute to the Corps’ overall image. By partnering with a professional football management company, the FRSC aims to leverage expertise and resources to achieve its goals in sports development and youth empowerment.
