Nigeria players are not having the best of time in Rabat, Morocco and are demanding improved conditions in their camp to enable them concentrate to play better football in the competition.

www.theajasanews.com visited the camp of the team in Rabat to confirm the news of the purported poor condition and to find out first hand from the players how comfortable they are in the camp.

Though, the players refused to speak to our reporter for fear of been victimized by the sporting authorities, but the few that spoke with us did that in confidence.

They noted that they have made up their mind not to allow the situation of the camp to bother them, and have all resolved to concentrate on winning their matches to emerge victorious at the end of the day.

“My oga, i don’t want to talk about the camping situation here. The fact is that we have resolved to bear with whatever condition we find ourselves and to concentrate to winning our matches. That is what is paramount to us now.

“But if by any means they decide to improve the condition we would not mind. But that is not so very important to us now,” he said.

The news broke few days ago that the Nigeria U-20 football team is camped in a very horrible conditions at Rabat not befitting of a National team representing the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Though, there has not been any official statement from the Nigeria Ministry of Youth and Sports on the matter and efforts to get them to speak has hit the brick wall as none of them is willing to speak.
